You must be 18 or over
Coach Nomin programs, the student portal and the mobile app are for adults. You must be at least 18 years old to buy a program, hold an account, or post in the community. We do not knowingly provide the service to anyone under 18, and we close accounts when we learn of one.
Your account
You get an account when you join a program or when Nomin enrols you. Keep your password private and do not share your login: each account is for one person. Tell us at nomin@coachnomin.com if you think someone else has used it.
Programs and access
A program gives you access to its lessons, files, events and community for the time shown on the program page, usually the length of the cohort plus a follow-up period. Lessons unlock week by week on the schedule Nomin sets. Purchases are made on coachnomin.com, not inside the app, and are subject to the price, refund and cancellation terms shown at checkout. For refund questions, email us.
Content is for you
Lessons, recordings, worksheets, slides and other materials belong to Coach Nomin or the people who licensed them to us. You may use them for your own learning. Do not copy, share, resell, record or publish them, and do not share your login so that others can. Posts made by other members belong to them; treat them with the same care.
Coaching is not professional advice
Coach Nomin offers life coaching and education for personal growth, including programs such as The Art of Receiving. It is not financial, investment, tax, legal, medical or mental health advice, and Nomin is not acting as your financial advisor, accountant, lawyer, doctor or therapist. Decisions you make about your money, your health and your life are your own. Consider speaking to a licensed professional before acting on anything you learn in a program. Guided reflections in some lessons are written with the help of AI (through DraftPaper and OpenAI) from your answers; they are a prompt for your own reflection, not an assessment or a diagnosis.
The community and messages
The community board and messaging let you talk with Nomin and the other members of your cohort. Everything you post must follow the community guidelines. There is no tolerance for harassment, hate, spam or content that is sexual, violent or unlawful. You can report any post and hide any member. Nomin reviews reports promptly, usually within 24 hours, and may remove posts, close threads or remove a member from the community or the program. By posting you give Coach Nomin permission to show your post to the members of your cohort and to keep it as part of the program.
Acceptable use
- Do not try to access other people’s accounts or content, or to get around the week-by-week unlocking.
- Do not upload malicious files, scrape the service or overload it.
- Do not use the service for anything unlawful.
Ending an account
You can delete your account at any time from the Account screen; see the privacy policy for what that removes. We may suspend or close an account that breaks these terms or the community guidelines, and in serious cases without notice.
The app
The mobile app is provided by Coach Nomin, not by Apple or Google, and they have no obligation to support it. Files you save for offline use stay on your device and are removed when you sign out or delete the app. Notifications and calendar access are optional and controlled in your phone’s settings.
Availability and liability
We work to keep the service available and your content safe, but we cannot promise it will always be error-free or uninterrupted. To the extent the law allows, Coach Nomin is not liable for indirect or consequential losses, and our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid for the program concerned. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under consumer protection law that cannot be waived.
Changes and law
We may update these terms; if a change matters we will tell you by email or in the app. These terms are governed by the laws of Ontario and the federal laws of Canada that apply there.
